Students presenting a paper, poster or participating in the PhD symposium are eligible to apply for a grant to support the cost of their registration (workshops+tutorials+main conference). If you are already registered and are granted the award you can request a refund.
Requirements:
- Be a student at a higher education institution
- Have an ESWC 2023 submission that has been accepted to either the main conference, the doctoral consortium, an ESWC 2023 workshop or the poster/demo session.
- Be the presenter of the accepted submission.
How to apply:
- Fill in the application form and submit before April 14:
- Ask your supervisor to email the General Chair (clpesquita@fc.ul.pt) from an institutional account, confirming that you are a current student under their supervision and that you will be presenting at ESWC 2023. The subject of the email should be โESWC 2023 Student Registration Grant Application Verification for {YOUR NAME}โ. The text should read โI confirm that {YOUR NAME} is a student that is currently under my supervision at {INSTITUTION NAME} and that they will be attending ESWC 2023 to present work that they completed under my supervision. {SUPERVISOR NAME}โ
Selection:
Preference will be given to students that are first authors on papers accepted to the main conference or the doctoral consortium, followed by those who are first authors on papers accepted to ESWC workshops and the Poster & Demo session.
